Free-Domicile (DDP) administration

In many countries we are able to perform a Free-Domicile or Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) clearance and delivery.

This enables us to pay any import taxes, duties and disbursements to Customs on your behalf to enable a quicker clearance and delivery without the consignee having to pay anything.

It should be noted that the consignee still may need to provide paperwork or information to Customs or our local broker to enable the clearance.

The administration fee in the UK is charged on the initial despatch of the consignment. The international charges are invoiced under separate cover when details are received from the import location. The charges are to be settled within normal agreed credit terms.

Volumetric Conversion

The relation of actual weight against volumetric size gives rise to a volumetric conversion formula that is used by airlines and carriers to ensure correct yield per kilo in relation to space used is applied.

Pricing changes for 2020

In 2020 we will be celebrating 22 years in business, providing our customers with a comprehensive portfolio of delivery, logistics and value-added services.

Mission Express is an independent company offering services across all modes of transport, to all corners of the globe. We have strived year on year to offer a service which you can rely on. Your continued loyalty to us over the years is testament to our dedication and commitment to our customers, and we thank you for choosing us, time and again.

You will, of course, be aware that the export / import market is challenging and changing in the present political and economic climate. With this in mind we have had to review rates going into the New Year, and are implementing a 4.9% increase on all International & Domestic services effective 13th January 2020.

We understand fully that a price rise is never welcome, but hope that you will understand the need for us to pass on genuine increases in operating costs in order to be able to continue to offer and further develop high-quality services.

We are a business committed to customer care and offering tailored, reliable services for a fair price. Thank you for your business and your continued, valued support.

All other levies remain unchanged.

If you have any questions regarding these changes please do not hesitate to contact Steve Grossman directly on 07738458970 or steve@missionexpress.com

Are you Brexit prepared?

Mission Express is prepared and monitoring the Brexit situation closely to offer guidance to our customers on how they can prepare for any significant challenges that may lay ahead.

Speculation on the consequences and outcome of Brexit negotiations has reached a critical point but remains un-clear. In the event of a ‘No Deal’ scenario on 29th March, all goods between the UK and Europe will require customs clearance. Congestion at ports has been widely predicted with the impact wide-spread for a period of time.

Act now

If you do not have an active EORI this will be needed for Customs Clearance, it’s free to apply and currently takes just a few days.

Establishing the Customs commodity codes and inco-terms for your goods. This will allow you to apply the correct rate and amount of Duty and keep you compliant with HMRC
