Insurance can be arranged through our specialist insurance partners and tailored to the nature of the shipment and its declared value.

Premiums are calculated based on factors including the shipment value, commodity type and route.

  2. Mission Express acts as a facilitator in arranging cover and does not itself provide or underwrite insurance.

Maximum Cover Limit

Standard cover up to £250,000 per shipment

Higher-value movements can often be arranged subject to underwriting approval.

Premium Structure

Courier Movements
2% of declared goods value
Minimum premium: £35

 

Freight Movements
Premium calculated as:
(Goods value + freight cost) + 10%) × 2%

The additional 10% reflects standard marine insurance provisions for associated costs
