Worldwide Cover

​

Insurance protection is available for shipments worldwide, subject to policy terms and conditions.

​

The following destinations require prior insurer approval before dispatch:

Albania, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Burundi, Chechnya Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Liberia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Somalia.

Our team will manage approvals on your behalf where required.

Suitable Goods & Packaging

​

All goods must be:

​

• Professionally packed

• Adequately protected to withstand the normal rigours of transit

​

The following commodities require advance agreement with insurers and may be subject to revised terms:

​

• Alcoholic beverages

• Antiques

• Cash, securities, negotiable documents, bullion, stamps, payment cards

• Fresh fish, fruit or vegetables

• Furs, fishmeal, refined sugar

• Glass items

• Household goods or personal effects

• Jewellery, watches, perfumes

• Non-ferrous metals

• Microchips, memory or motherboards not part of a complete system

• Mobile phones

• Newsprint, pulp or paper reels

• Precious metals or stones

• Tobacco products

If your shipment includes any of the above, our Customer Services team will confirm the availability of cover before movement.

Maximum Cover Limit

Standard cover up to £250,000 per shipment

Higher-value movements can often be arranged subject to underwriting approval.

Premium Structure

Courier Movements
2% of declared goods value
Minimum premium: £35

 

Freight Movements
Premium calculated as:
(Goods value + freight cost) + 10%) × 2%

The additional 10% reflects standard marine insurance provisions for associated costs.
